1. Purpose of this domain
Domains and related subdomains served by this site are operated by securitytools.co.za for authorized internal IT and security operations. This may include security-awareness content and controlled phishing-simulation infrastructure approved by participating organisations.
2. Not a public service
These sites are not a general customer portal, public helpdesk, corporate sign-in page, or password-reset service. You must not submit login credentials, payment details, or other sensitive personal information to pages on these domains unless you have been explicitly instructed to do so through an authorized internal channel for a controlled exercise.
3. Passwords are not stored
We do not store passwords. Any credential-style fields used in an authorized simulation exist only to measure whether a form was submitted as part of training. Submitted password values are not retained, reused, or sold. Still treat any unexpected login request as suspicious and report it through your organisation’s normal IT / security process.
4. Authorized use only
Access and use are limited to:
- Operators and vendors delivering approved security programmes
- Staff or users who receive communications as part of an authorized simulation or awareness activity
- Normal browser access to informational pages such as this one
You may not use these domains to attack, scan, abuse, impersonate, or interfere with systems, or to misrepresent yourself as a participating organisation or its service providers.
5. Simulations and training
Where phishing simulations or related training are conducted, they are authorized under the relevant organisation’s security programme and applicable rules of engagement. Participation metrics (such as clicks or reports) may be collected for training and risk-management purposes. Simulation messages are not real attacks and should not be forwarded as evidence of a live compromise without confirmation from IT / security.
6. Availability
We aim to keep informational pages available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Tracking or exercise endpoints on related hosts may return limited responses by design.
7. Intellectual property
Text, branding, and materials on these pages are provided for information about authorized programmes. You may not copy or reuse them to create misleading sites or communications.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, securitytools.co.za and operators of these domains are not liable for loss arising from misuse of informational pages, misunderstanding of simulation activity, or reliance on content that is clearly not an official login or support channel. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
